Pan is a Spanish term for bread. Pan De Sal, Philippines’ famous and staple bread, or “Salt Bread” originated during the Spanish colonial era. The creation of Pan de Sal out of necessity because of scarcity of rice back then inspired Batter Up’ Founding Father Christian Rodrigo to create his own signature bread called Masa.
Now, Batter Up offers a variety of local and foreign bread classics in all our stores globally.
